Time for a Change

The once proud DC United team, has now went almost four and a half games without scoring. Has went 16-21-4 this season. With six games to go before the season is put out of its misery, Three MLS and Three CCL games. They laid an egg in superliga losing all three, they have laid an egg in the CCL so far losing all three. The only competition they plaid well in was the US Open cup winning that honorable tournament, and getting a CCL berth next year. While most other MLS team punted that tournament.

We are now punting the CCL, so we can try to make the MLS playoffs, with games left against Houston, New England and Supporters shield winners Columbus. The way the team is playing most of us would be surprised to see them earn one point from those three games. After last night's debacle and the obvious crap on the pitch, it is obvious that Tommy has now not only screwed up the team, but he has lost the team as well. Players arguing on the field, players admitting in post game interview they didn't know what they were supposed to do. Who is kidding me.

DC United is the greatest Futebol team in the United States, has enjoyed more success outside the US than any other team in the United States. It is time to go out and find a coach that can carry on the "Tradition" that is DC United.

1-7-2 in the last ten, and that win was against a USL team in the Open Cup final, We started the season 4-5-1. The team wasn't prepared to start the season, and we certainly not closing the season well at all. While Tommy is at fault for the way this team is prepared. Kevin and Dave also hold a lot of responsibility here as well. After all they are the team that signed all of these players. How do you sign a DP who can't stay healthy?

In the words of the presidential candidates we need change in DC, and Congress and the White House isn't the only thing in DC that needs changing.

This isn't the tradition that DC is all about. Time to get back to what DC is all about.
